If we could give away corporate merchandise that everyone loved, we would be in fantastic shape going into the new year, impressing investors and board members left and right. Unfortunately, in the middle of many swag deliveries, corporate sent us to a fully remote environment for safety reasons, as most of you probably remember!

Don't get it wrong, most of our team loves working from home, and we still do occasionally, but we love coming in to work together. As office manager, Steph prefers working from the actual place she's meant to manage, but the last time she came to work, she opened her office door, and four or five boxes full of company-branded t-shirts fell on her. 

She left immediately, muttering about how she could have been hurt and wasn't coming back in until someone cleaned her office. She was adamant that it wouldn't be her since she hadn't put the boxes there! 

Meanwhile, we needed her back. Corporate asked us about trending promotional items in 2023, and we needed to kickstart our order, but we had no place to put it aside from Steph's office. It was imperative to get our leader back on site, so we went about reorganizing to try and figure out where we could store all this swag, old and new.

That's when Karen suggested Paul's office, as he had yet to step foot in the building since management announced that we could return. His unused space would be perfect for keeping all our custom promotional products, and Paul could continue working happily from home with his Basset Hounds, Midge and Millie. 

Karen was thrilled with her plan, and as client interaction ticked up on our social channels, we began moving boxes to Paul's office, making way for Steph.

Once all the boxes were secured in Paul's office, our cleaning crew came in and, with plenty of direction from Karen, began to get Steph's office in perfect working condition once again. She had no idea and continued to work with us on a promotional items list from SwagMagic from home. 

Old products were slowly moving out of our inventory, but we weren't too concerned, as Paul still showed zero interest in returning. Karen swung the door open, and we all stared in shock at the piles of boxes everywhere. Steph laughed. "Still nowhere for me to sit?" she asked, shaking her head. "Who's ready for lunch?"

As she turned and walked away, the rest of us, especially Karen, stood, mouths gaping at the massive mess in this recently-cleaned office.

We had a lovely time at lunch, with Steph talking excitedly about the new bulk promotional items with logo we would have to give customers. She was supportive of our existing plan for ditching the old swag and happy that it was coming along slowly but surely.
